Vascular

At Orana Radiology we perform many vascular ultrasound studies. Many of these studies involve assessing the way blood flows through arteries and vein. We are also able to assess vein for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). 

Some of the more common studies include:

• Carotid Arteries
• Renal Artery Doppler
• Leg Arteries
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
• Assessment of Varicose Veins
• DVT study

 

Generally there is no preparation required, however please check with our staff on booking your appointment.

 

Some of the vascular studies can be extensive (up to 2 hours) depending on the area of the study and pathology found.
